Itsy Bitsy Yoga© - Next session begins Oct 30th.
Itsy Bitsy Yoga® introduces your baby, tot or tyke and you to the many benefits of yoga in the first years of life. Helen Garabedian, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator and Registered Yoga Teacher, created this program which includes more than 125 yoga poses and techniques for babies from birth to 4 years old that are developmentally enriched and deepen the parent/child bond. 
 
Baby IBY Class Description
 Ages: 3 Weeks to Nearly Crawling, with a caregiver
Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes contain dozens of unique yoga postures designed to support baby's development.  Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby's sleep.  During a Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga class, babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms.  For parents, this class is a special opportunity to meet other moms, get support, and learn about baby's emerging personality.  Most of the yoga we do in Itsy Bisty Yoga is for baby, but you will learn breathing and relaxation techniques as well.  No yoga experience is required.
 
Tots IBY Class Description -
Ages: Crawling to 24 Months, with a caregiver
Itsy Bitsy Yoga for Tots is a supportive, fun-loving, and active yoga class.  As tots' mobility increases, classes offer tot-centric poses that encourage and  support their physical explorations.  Tots become more confident in their moving bodies as they practice yoga both in and out of class.  During a Tots Itsy Bitsy Yoga class, crawlers and walkers playfully practice yoga postures while they are standing, sitting, walking, and jumping.  Parents also get to do a little yoga, but no yoga experience required.
 
Tykes IBY Class Description - 
Ages: 21 Months to 4 Years, with a caregiver
Tykes Itsy Bitsy Yoga® combines unique toddler-friendly yoga poses with songs, stories, and games to create an encrishing parent/child activity.  Each class is personalized around tykes' curiosities as they learn yoga through social interaction, repetition, and play.  Tykes also learn how to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, and increase attention span by actively following directions.  Help your tyke build the foundation for a healthy and fit lifestyle while having fun!  No yoga experience is required.
