India 2011 -  March 5 - 20, 2011; 2nd trip in August 2011!

See and experience India they way few people ever do. Come with David and Soni to the home and heart  of yoga in Rishikesh, India. We will stay at the world famous Parmarth Niketon Ashram on the banks of the Ganges (Ganga) river in the foothills of the Himalayas. This beautiful ashram will inspire you and enrich your life. Simple (but clean and safe) rooms, delicious vegetarian meals plus all the yoga, ayurvedic treatments, sightseeing and more will be included.

This trip will focus on Ayurvedic healing, including 7 days of Panchakarma - the most amazing treatment you will ever have. We absolutely fell in love with it. Every day for 7 days you will receive a 75 minute sesame oil massage, special treatments for your skin ears, eyes, nose etc. perscribed by the Ayurvedic Doctor, and a steam bath to cleanse you inside and out. You will feel (and look) years younger; with energy and vitality you forgot you had. Ask us about Shirodhara!

We will also practice yoga every day, see wonderful sights in and around Rishikesh, go river rafting in the Ganga, sing in the evening by the Ganga as part of the nightly Aarti ceremony, and mingle with yogis from around the world. And yes, there will be shopping too. For those feeling adventurous, we will have an optional side trip deep into the Himalayas to the glacier source of the Ganges river (extra charge and advance reservation required). Otherwise there is plenty to see and do in Rishikesh and Haridwar.

At the end of the trip we will spend 2 days in Delhi seeing the sights there. The land cost will be $1,500, which includes all rooms (double occupancy), most meals, sight-seeing trips and all ground transportation. A $300 non-refundable deposit will be required. You are responsible for your own airfare, details will be provided.

Email david@soniyoga.com for more details or to sign up. Space is limited to a maximum of 10 travellers so book early to insure your spot.
