Natalie has been teaching yoga throughout the Greater Boston area for about 2 1/2 years. Yoga has been part of her life since she was a teenager when she discovered a class on the local public television channel. She remembers the power of being told to simply "notice" the sensations in the body and was immediately hooked.
Natalie received her 200 hr. certification at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in March 2008 and has been teaching passionately ever since. Natalie believes that Kripalu's approach of "witness" consciousness helps us let go of self-judgement and see the person that we really are. Underneath the physical practice of yoga are all the tools we need to heal ourselves.
Natalie's classes balance strength and flexibility, breath and alignment, and seek to give the practitioner an overall healthy sense of self through body appreciation, acceptance, and just "being." Classes are tailored to each individuals needs so that a vigorous or gentle practice is possible on any given day.
