Virginia has practiced yoga since childhood, beginning with her mother’s Lilias Folan tapes. Over the past decade, she has drawn inspiration from a wide variety of yoga styles, including yin, hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa, Forrest, and Baron Baptiste. Having grown up overweight and largely sedentary, she has a deeply personal understanding of the challenge and joy of incorporating physical movement into one’s daily life. Today she offers compassionate yoga instruction for students of all ages and levels. Virginia completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training under the instruction of master teacher Ana Forrest and is Yoga Alliance certified.
